Dondo is another cat rescued from an apartment where they lived in darkness, neglected and without basic care. That kind of life left its mark: Dondo is very fearful and will need a great deal of time to understand that he is no longer in danger.

He will not approach you or relax right away. He may watch you from a safe corner for a while, trying to decide whether you are worthy of his trust. But every small step he takes will be a major victory.

He feels safest with Nala, with whom he shares a particularly close bond. It would be wonderful if they could find a home together, but adopting them as a pair is not a requirement.

Dondo is looking for a peaceful home and exceptionally patient people who will not expect him to become a fearless house cat overnight. He needs time, space, and someone who understands that sometimes love first reveals itself simply by choosing to remain in the same room.

One day, he may approach you on his own. And when he does, you will know that you have received something truly special: the trust of a cat who had every reason to be afraid, yet still chose to try again.
