KITTEN SAFE HOUSE

JACKIE O (F)
Adopted!
This cat comes from a Roma settlement, where she was caught during a spay and neuter project. Though it was the first time she felt safety and peace, the mistrust she carried didn’t just disappear. Even today, she remains cautious, closed off – and truly her own.
She’s not cuddly. She won’t come seeking affection. She still watches people from a safe distance, as if wondering whether they’re really better than everything she’s experienced so far.
But she hasn’t given up. And neither have we.
She’s looking for a home without dogs, possibly with one calm, non-dominant cat who might show her that not everything in life is a threat. She needs someone who understands that socialization can't be forced – that it’s a process, sometimes long, but always worth it.
She’s perfect for quiet, patient people who don’t expect instant gratitude, but want to be someone’s safe haven – perhaps for the very first time in that being’s life.
She’s not a simple cat. But maybe that’s exactly what makes her special.
